We are surrounded by water - access to Whidbey Island
is by ferry from Port Townsend to Keystone, or from Mulkiteo
to Clinton, or by the Deception Pass Bridge from Fidalgo
Island. Saratoga Passage lies between our two islands, and
is home to gray Whales each April. To the west are the
Straits of San Juan de Fuca, bringing in a wealth of
intertidal life from the Pacific Ocean.
Nestled in the Olympic Mountain rain shadow the Island
collects about half the rainfall of Seattle. With views of
Saratoga Passage and the Olympic Mountain range,
Kristfield’s Bed and Breakfast has avant-garde comforts,
