Whidbey Island, located in Puget Sound, roughly 50 minutes north of Seattle, is 60 miles long. I invite you to come and experience the island splendor of the Pacific Northwest. Whidbey is located in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, and experiences half the annual rainfall of Seattle. The island is easily reached by daily ferry service with departures every 30 minutes and is also accessible by Deception Pass Bridge at the north. It is ideal for those who wish to get away and distress, hike, bike, golf or go whale watching. Other island activities to look forward to are wine tasting, antiquing, fine dining, exploring its charming towns such as Freeland, Langley, Coupeville and Greenbank, Whidbey State Park, Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens, Double Bluff Park, Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve and Deception Pass.
